My name is *wait for it* James Shewmake, and welcome to my gallery.

In 2011 I started taking my photography a lot more seriously. I purchased a Nikon D3100 at the beginning of the year, and after familiarizing myself with it around the house, started shooting everything I could get a frame of focus on. Before long I was freelancing for the World Eskimo Indian Olympics and was picked up for the cover of a local magazine. Recently I was asked if any of my photographs were available for sale, and so I decided to put together this Smug account.

I hope you like what you see! This will be a venue for my best images, I will probably add artwork images at some point in the future as well. If you are familiar with my broader work, and don't see a particular image that you like, get in touch with me and I will get it up here.
